Get to Know Nick Lesky’s Journey at IPC

Initially, I was attracted to IPC because of the hybrid nature of the position, which fit perfectly with what I was seeking as a recent college graduate. The role ticked all the boxes for an entry-level job. Additionally, I connected with Owen on LinkedIn, who was an account manager at IPC before starting. He had only positive things to say about IPC and played a significant role in drawing me in with his enthusiasm and support.

The most rewarding part of working with IPC members is when they express their thanks and praise for being helpful for the pharmacies. Gratitude from some of the members goes a long way to keep me motivated. Knowing I made their day and the stress of managing a pharmacy just a little bit better makes it feel rewarding.

Before joining IPC, I didn’t know much about the pharmaceutical industry. What surprised me the most was how complex everything is and how all the parts fit together. While I still don’t completely understand it all, this complexity has allowed me to challenge myself and think outside the box in my role.

While it might be an uncommon answer, I would love to be part of a competitive professional sports team for a day. Playing in one of their matches and having the excitement of everyone watching would be thrilling. I played a lot of sports as a child, and I miss that feeling. Being back on the court or field for a day would be a fantastic experience.

Work-life flexibility resonates with me the most. I value a balance between work and personal life, ensuring that work does not consume me or negatively affect those around me. IPC provides a great balance that allows me to enjoy my personal life without compromising my professional responsibilities.
