Joe Meinholz: Championing Marketing Excellence and Innovation at IPC
Tell us a bit about your background and how you got into marketing.
My career has been quite diverse, with roles in sales, customer service, and now, marketing. I ventured into marketing while working for a large health system in Central Wisconsin, where I discovered my passion for connecting with audiences and developing impactful messaging. My background has helped equip me with a unique perspective and a versatile skill set that I bring to my marketing projects.
What’s something interesting you’ve learned while working at IPC?
One of the coolest things I’ve learned while working at IPC is the incredible dedication and passion that everyone here brings to their work. The team’s commitment to serving our members and improving the world of independent pharmacy is truly inspiring. This collective enthusiasm not only drives our success but also fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where we all strive to make a positive impact every day.
What is your proudest moment working at IPC?
Watching the content I have worked on go out into the world. Watching something I had poured my creativity and effort into come to life and seeing people engage with that content provides a great sense of accomplishment. Whether it was through comments, shares, or increased traffic, knowing that my work resonated with our audience and contributed to our company’s success is immensely rewarding. It reinforced my passion for content creation and the impact it can have. One specific example that stands out is the recently completed purchasing eBook project. It has been exciting to see the initial reaction to the eBook downloads. While it’s still early in this campaign, I am hopeful for continued success and movement towards new qualified leads for IPC.
What might people be surprised to hear about you?
To be completely honest, there’s not much that would surprise anyone who’s met with me for more than five minutes. The typical boilerplate is that I have three kids (9, 9, and 7), I love to golf (obviously), and we’re about to embark on a major 6-week home renovation. One final thing about me is I am absolutely obsessed with Walt Disney World, I have been to Disney 8 times in the last 9 years, along with a 3-month internship for the Walt Disney World College Program.
IPC won Top Workplace for Innovation, Compensation & Benefits, Work-Life Flexibility, and Leadership. Which category resonates with you and why?
For me, Work-Life Flexibility and Leadership are the categories that resonate the most. The emphasis on work-life flexibility at IPC allows me to maintain a healthy balance between my professional and personal life, which is crucial for my overall well-being. Additionally, the strong leadership at IPC inspires and motivates me to continuously grow and excel in my role. The combination of these two factors creates an empowering and supportive environment that makes IPC an exceptional place to work.
